Did some research and read these can be cut with a metal jigsaw blade. We were able to cut 2 panels in half with ease. No chipping or melting. Will update how they hold up in the NE. The set I had previously bought turned brittle, was thin, and eventually failed. We have these attached these as a barrier to deter our cats from stepping on the outer side of the railing.
Sometimes when i'm doing some rehab and some handyman work. I will use the Plexiglass as a temporary windowpane and sometimes as a temporary ceiling holder. And sometimes when i'm in a basement, i will use the Plexiglass to catch crawling insects. I would put some sticky stuff--adhesive on the Plexiglass. And insects would be stuck to the Plexiglass.
I used this acrylic to frame both very large and small pictures. I live on an island where finding a place that sells and cuts glass does not exist. So, I tried this approach. I bought a very fine toothed 10" saw blade for my table saw and cut the acrylic to the exact dimensions I needed. Because it is covered with a protective peel-off sheet of plastic wrap on both sides, there was no damage to the acrylic as it ran across the table saw. All my pictures really look like they are protected with glass, and the weight. Very nice product.

I got great result with the side panel of my project. I used a gel glue to attach to a side frame I made and my project is starting to look cool. I used multiple gel dot around the wooden frame. I press down on the opposite side for the required 20 to 30sec minimum for my gel glue. Tapping the the glued acrylic now sound like a drum that's how good it glued. So, of course time will tell if this will last, But I am happy for now. I used two guide wooden strip so I can score the acrylic sheet in the same line. The sheets are thin so it does not take to many scoring. Always be careful those thin acrylic cutter/scores tool are very sharp.
This material is very tough, not brittle, like plexiglass. Cutting is challenging. My cuts were straight lines, so I scribed the line with a box cutter until I was about 1/2 way through the material. Then I scribed the back side a few times to insure a clean break. Then simply break it on the edge of a workbench but don’t be surprised if it takes a lot of pressure before it suddenly and loudly breaks. Clarity of the material is great.
The Art3D 5 pack arrived soon. I was very pleased with the quality of the plexi-glass. Each sheet is 24 X 36 inches. What I needed was 18 X 24 inches. So, I used my table saw with a very fine saw blade to cut each sheet in half. The cut was very clean and perfect. So far, I have framed two pictures using the Art 3D. The artwork looks very good. So, I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend it for use over artwork.
I was pleasantly surprised that the packaging was done with such a caring hand. They packaged it so well that I had to highlight it here. KUDDOS to your packaging department. The 2 pieces of plexiglass were a perfect fit and I'm glad I got them. Very durable as well. Grandkids are destroyers, but not with this. Still no scratches.
Needed to put up as barrier in catio to keep aggressive cat from reaching through and grabbing the other cats on the other side of the fencing. You wouldn’t think a cat in a cage could wage war, but he did and he won. Had to use a drill to poke holes in it. Had to leave the film on after applying first sheet. It was so clear the other cats couldn’t see the barrier and would still jump when they saw him coming. His clawing hasn’t pulled it loose from the zip ties. It’s very durable and he’s very rough on it.
I’ve always struggled to find an adequate solution to keep my dogs (1 large, 1 small) away from my cats’ food bowls. I set these up along the edge of a table using plastic holders (that stick to the table) as a sort of shield. It works great! These are perfectly clear sheets so they’re nearly invisible. They come with a protective film on each side that’s easy to pull off. The sheets are flexible but will stand up straight.
